The A4 slim box measures 312 x 225 x 24mm externally and 304 x 216 x 21mm internally. The slim depth holds up to 150 sheets of standard A4 paper. It is designed for situations where a full-depth box would be excessive — portfolios, presentation documents, certificates, card stock, and art prints all fit neatly.
The slim profile makes this box popular for storing flat items that don't require the full depth of our standard A4 box. Customers use it for presentation documents, architectural drawings, art prints, card stock, craft paper, and client handover packs. If it fits within 304 x 216mm and is no taller than 21mm, it will store neatly in an A4 slim box.
Yes. Both the clear transparent and TOUGH white opaque versions are made from acid-free polypropylene, which means they will not react with or damage paper, prints, or artwork stored inside. Safe for long-term archival storage of documents and handmade work.
The A4 slim box is available in two grades of polypropylene — standard clear transparent PP5, and TOUGH high-impact opaque white. Both are acid-free and recyclable. The TOUGH grade offers significantly improved resistance to knocks and heavy handling, while the clear grade gives instant visual content identification.
The A4 slim box is designed, manufactured, and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been manufacturing precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948 — originally from a factory in Teddington, then on Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, before moving to our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002. When you buy a WestonBoxes product, it is genuinely made in Britain — not just branded here.
WestonBoxes are made by S.B.Weston Ltd — a third-generation family business founded in south west London in 1948. For over 75 years we've been precision injection moulding, supplying partners including Brompton Bikes and The Royal British Legion's Poppy Factory.
