Kallax shelf inserts for A4 Boxes enable you to store 5 A4 Paper Storage Boxes in an IKEA Kallax storage unit cubicle, each on its own individual shelf. Simply peel the backing paper from the glue dots, line the front lip of the insert up with the front face of the Kallax and stick it in place inside the Kallax cubicle. Now you can load it with your A4 storage boxes each on its own individual shelf.

  • Designed to fit the IKEA Kallax: This pack contains 5 A4 Storage Boxes, 5 box handles and a pair of shelving inserts designed specifically for the Kallax. Together they turn a single Kallax cube into five individual shelves for your craft supplies.
  • Super easy to install: Peel the backing paper from the glue dots and stick the inserts to the inside walls of a Kallax cubicle. Make sure the overhang on the front edge of each insert is pressed against the front of the Kallax, so the insert can't creep backwards when you slide boxes in. That's all there is to it. Now you can fill your boxes with craft supplies and give each one its own shelf.
  • Five boxes in one Kallax cube: Each A4 box sits on its own shelf with slide-out access from the front, giving you five neatly organised, individually accessible boxes in a single Kallax cubicle.
  • Boxes & handles included: The A4 boxes sit close together on their shelves, so each one comes with a black slip-on handle that fits to the front of the box, making it easy to pull out smoothly.
  • Colour options: The Kallax inserts and box handles are black. The A4 storage boxes are available in clear, transparent red, pink, purple, blue and green, opaque white, or a multicolour mix.

What is included in the Kallax insert pack with 5 A4 Storage Boxes?

The pack contains 5 A4 Storage Boxes, 5 slip-on box handles and a pair of Kallax shelving inserts. The inserts are 3D printed in black PETG, the handles are injection moulded in black acetal, and the boxes are injection moulded in PP5 polypropylene.

Why choose Kallax inserts rather than an A4 Box Stak?

The A4 Box Stak doesn't fit in an IKEA Kallax cubicle, so these inserts are the way to shelve A4 boxes in a Kallax. The inserts aren't freestanding: they only work when fixed inside a Kallax, where they hold each of the 5 boxes on its own shelf. If you want freestanding storage for A4 boxes, choose the A4 Box Stak instead.

How many boxes do I get in total?

You get 5 A4 Storage Boxes, 2 Kallax inserts and a handle for each box. If you already have A4 boxes, the Kallax inserts and handles are also available without boxes.

What can I store in the boxes?

Each A4 box holds a full ream of 500 sheets of 80gsm A4 paper. They're just as popular for card stock, ink pads, stamps, washi tape, notecards and craft supplies. They're made from acid-free polypropylene for maximum protection against yellowing and degradation, and now you can shelve 5 in a single Kallax cube.

Where is the Kallax insert pack made?

Every component in this pack is designed, manufactured and quality-checked at our factory in Sunbury-on-Thames, Surrey. S.B.Weston Ltd has been making precision injection moulded products in south west London since 1948. We started in a factory in Teddington, moved to Platts Eyot, a small island in the Thames, and moved into our own factory premises in Sunbury-on-Thames in 2002. When you buy a WestonBoxes product, it is genuinely made in Britain, not just branded here.

Are the Kallax inserts injection moulded or 3D printed?

The Kallax inserts are 3D printed in PETG. PETG is durable and holds up well to drops and knocks. It tolerates warm rooms without softening and resists moisture, oils and household chemicals. It's a solid all-rounder material for functional, everyday items.
